Well here’s an interesting piece of information found online about “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” producer Mona Scott-Young.

According to Financial Juneteenth, Mona Scott-Young could face felony charges for helping reality TV star, Stevie J, with his ongoing child support case. In a recent statement made by Project Child Support, Scott-Young may have lied about her company never employing Stevie J for any work.

Mona Scott-Young is now facing accusations that she lied about Stevie J’s financials so that she could help him avoid having to fulfill his child support obligations. In April, she was subpoenaed with a host of other big names in the entertainment industry that included Joseline Hernandez, Raymond “Benzino” Scott, Sony Music Group, Viacom, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, The Kompany and Monami Entertainment. They faced inquiries by Project Child Support to find out the exact status of Stevie J’s finances so he could start clearing his debt.

Project Child Support, a support group for mothers having a hard time getting their baby fathers to pay up, says that Scott-Young is a liar. The support group’s founder had this to say:

“I don’t understand how an Executive Producer of a hit television reality series does not enter into any agreements with the cast or any organizations contracted with the cast of a television production. This is a felony child support evasion case, and helping someone commit a felony crime is a felony crime. We are going to cooperate with the federal agencies investigating this case and provide them with copies of all documents we received that are related to this case, including Mona Scott’s court ordered subpoena response.”

What do you think? Did Mona Scot-Young lie for Stevie J?

It could be that she is telling the truth. Stevie J may not have been hired on by Monami Entertainment, but instead by VH1/Viacom directly.  If this is the case, Project Child Support claims of felony charges are plain ole far-fetched.
