The NAACP Award nominated actress is best known for her role as “Janine” on Tyler Perry’s “House of Payne” and “Monica” on the “Rickey Smiley Show”. On this new endeavor, McKinney shows everyone that her vocal abilities are just as good as her acting. According to an official press release, the songstress will give fans straight R&B and Soul throughout her new EP. “Officially Yours”, “Hurt Back”, “Trade It All”, “Caught Up in the Moment”, and “Work With Me” are a few that are expected on the project. In May, McKinney hosted a private listening party for Officially Yours at Treesound Studios in Atlanta. She also released a video for her single “Work It Out”.
