Sancho Lyttle had 18 points and team-high 12 rebounds for the Dream. Angel McCoughtry had 14 points to go along with 5 assists and 4 rebounds for Atlanta before fouling out with 4 minutes remaining. Shoni Schimmel came off the bench with a team high 7 assists to go with 9 points for the Dream. The Dream were almost perfect from the charity stripe making 12 out of 13 free throws (92.3%) and they scored an impressive season-high 68 points in the paint. This win puts the Dream over .500 and they improve to 4-3. Jantel Lavender led the Sparks with a team-high 21 points and finished with 6 rebounds. Nneka Ogwumike had 19 points and team-high 12 rebounds for the Sparks. Candace Parker had an all-around game finishing with 15 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals for the Sparks. Lindsey Harding had 7 points and game-high 9 assists for the Sparks. The Sparks drop to 2-3 and have lost two games in a row. The Sparks scored 48 points in the paint and didn’t have an answer for the Sparks in the paint.
