The San Antonio Spurs scored 71 first half points and also made a NBA Finals record 75.8% of their shots in the first half for a 111-92 victory over the Miami Heat. Kawhi Leonard led the Spurs with 29 points and had his best game of the series. Leonard 29 points is his playoff career-high. Guards Danny Green and Tony Parker had 15 points for the Spurs. Tim Duncan had 14 points and game-high 6 rebounds for the Spurs. Manu Ginobili came off the bench to score 11 points for the Spurs.

Dwyane Wade and LeBron James led the Heat with 22 points each. James had a game-high 7 assists, 5 rebounds and team-high 5 steals. Rashard Lewis had 14 points and Ray Allen came off the bench to score 11 points for Miami. Chris Bosh had a quiet game with 9 points, Bosh was perfect from the field hitting all four shots he attempted. Miami didn’t get any help from the rest of their players, starting point guard Mario Chalmers missed all five of the shots he attempted. Chalmers backup Norris Cole only made 3 out of 9 shots to score 8 points.

The Spurs dominated this game and could possibly win the next game in Miami. Cole and Chalmers has yet to produce for Miami in this series and need to step their game up if the Heat want to win this series. James, Wade, Bosh and Allen will usually be the Heat top scorers, Lewis has been playing well but another player has to step up. The Spurs now lead the series 2-1 and they are doing everything they can to prevent Miami from beating them two years in a row in the Finals.
