Atlanta Teen Arrested in Hit & Run

Arrest made in the Greg Germani hit and run case….

Bail was denied for 19 year-old Joseph Alan Lewis after being held and charged with attempted murder. Lewis and girlfriend, 22 year-old Shanelle Woodard, were arrested for intentionally hitting a bicyclist on June 9^th.

Police say Lewis was driving a red Dodge Nitro near Agnes Scott College when they struck Germani dragging him nearly 50 feet. Police had been working the case for weeks when they finally hit a break from a tip from Crime Stoppers about the whereabouts of the vehicle. Detectives Robert Jackson and Zack Kramer issued official warrants and made arrest in the case. The detectives stated that they collected enough evidence at the scene to determine that the vehicle Lewis drive was the vehicle that struck Germani.
