‘R&B Divas: LA’ Season 2 Premiere + Claudette Ortiz & Nicci Gilbert Spotted at ESPYs Event [PHOTOS]

“R&B Divas: LA” season two premiered on TV One this past Wednesday. The singing starlets are back with more singing, bonds made, and disagreements. So, this season is sure to keep viewers tuned in.

On the season two premiere, Lil Mo’, Claudette Ortiz, Michel’le, Chante Moore all return with work and rekindling friendship on their minds. However, there’s two new divas on the scene: Chrisette Michelle and Leela James. The two replaced Mrs. “I’m Booked” Kelly Price and Dawn Robinson. With the drama surrounding the old cast members on season one, the girls all hope that this same sort of drama doesn’t affect this new journey.

This season, Ortiz is plotting to have all the ladies work on a tourism project for her native home, Puerto Rico. So far, everyone is down for the cause. But, viewers will see how it plays out and get a chance to see a couple of fall-outs with Chrisette, Leela, and the others. Michel’le is starting an organization to help issues with suicide. Lil Mo’s divorce and family dynamic will cause a stir. The newbies get acclomated to the group, but Chrisette and Leela don’t seem to be feeling the love too much. This season should be quite interesting.

In other “R&B Diva” news, the ESPYs took over Los Angeles this week and Claudette Ortiz and Nicci Gilbert was spotted on the scene. The ladies attended the 2nd Annual “Beauty and the Beast Swag Lounge held at Red Carpet Systems.  Nicci was one of the offficial host for the event, which was attended by 200 people. MYX Fusion Moscato was flowing throughout the night.
