The highly publicized film features Nickelodeon actress, Alex Shipp, who will play the role of the R&B superstar. Executive produced by Wendy Williams, the TV film will chronicle the singer’s life from her debut on Star Search at 10 years old to her becoming one of urban music’s most beloved entertainers. The film is an adaption of Christoper Farley’s book Aaliyah: More Than A Woman.
