No matter the city, the Morgan State University grad is scoping talent to see who’s going to be the next big artist. He’s had a long and prosperous career in radio and television, so Buttah Man knows a thing or two. Hailing from the Virgin Islands, Buttah Man became a familiar face after landing a gig at MTV in 2001. He was the man behind the show “MTV Jams” and later “Hood Fab.” From there, he brought his talents to BET in 2010. However, in the mean time and between time, Buttah Man’s comedy career grew and still maintains a consistency. He’s a funny guy that incorporates humor no matter the endeavor. This is one reason why Buttah Man is one of the most sought after comedy writers, which has landed him several upcoming television projects. Recently, we got the opportunity to chop it up with Buttah Man in Atlanta to find out more about him. During our discussion, we learned more about his role as music director and how artists can gain his attention.
