PRSVR Presents ‘Fight or Flight’ During NYFW

PRSVR clothing brand decided to hit New York Fashion Week with the theory of movement.  In case you haven’t heard of the brand before, we posted a previous write-up on the urban fashion line HERE.

For NYFW 2014, PRSVR presented their “Fight or Flight” concept. With hustle of the crowded streets of downtown Chicago as the backdrop, PRSVR showcased their Destination ’14 collection.  According to an official press release, the collections’ focus was inspired by the daily battles commuting through airports, public transportation, and the streets.

With that in mind, Brandon and Margaret Williamson, the designers and owners of PRSVR, used durable materials like leather, wool, and twill to create fly and functional pieces. The pieces in theory would allow the person wearing it to Fight or take Flight.

PRSVR decided to take the risky route and do something disruptive. Lincoln Center provided the perfect backdrop for a crowd focused on fashion. Lincoln Center, too, served the purpose of demonstrating Fight or Flight concept. The dynamic designing duo assumed that security would try to shut them down, but they stood strong.
