Over 200 industry VIPs packed Toshi’s Living Room in NYC to celebrate the careers of RCA recording artist Jazmine Sullivan, DJ Kiss and RCA Records VP of Promotion Sam Selolwane. On the West Coast, Bardot was the spot where top music influencers gathered to toast the achievements of Atlantic recording artist K.Michelle, Billboard senior editor Gail Mitchell and Motown Records’ VP of Creative Relations & Marketing Myisha Brooks. MYX Moscato sponsored a MYX & Mingle hour for the guests. Afterwards, there was a Q&A with the honorees. In NY, Nicole George-Middleton, ASCAP VP of Rhythm & Soul/Urban, was the moderator, and in L.A. Mir Harris, Associate Director, ASCAP Rhythm & Soul/Urban. New York attendees enjoyed a live performance by Sullivan, who sang “Forever” and “Stupid Girls.” Additional guests in Los Angeles included Monami Entertainment CEO/MYX Fusions CMO Mona Scott-Young and “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” stars Ray J and Teairra Mari.
