‘Fast and Furious 7’ Trailer Hit High-Note w/ Facebook Debut

Fast and Furious 7 made its debut on Facebook this past weekend. Just in a weekend, the trailer received over 29 million views and 1.1 million shares.  After going live on their official Facebook page and the pages of cast members Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriquez, Dwayne Johnson, and the late Paul Walker, the video was viewed more than 1 million times in the first 30 minutes.

This marked the first time Facebook introduced their view count feature that shows YouTube-like counters on videos posted on their social network site.

Fast and Furious 7 hits theaters on April 3, 2015.
