HomeFeaturePornhub Launches Label; T-Pain to Judge $5K Song Search Contest (Ends Nov. 30) admin Monday, November 24, 2014 Feature, Music, The Connect, The Studio If you’re going to visit a free p0rn site, we guess it might as well have its own theme song too. Right?? *kanye shrug* Well, that’s what the world’s number one free pornsite, Pornhub.com, is in the business of doing nowadays. This summer, the company launched Pornhub Records. To accompany the launch, the label ann0unced that they were having a song search contest to find the adult site’s official anthem. For two months now, they’ve received thousands of submissions. To judge the contest, Pornhub has enlisted Grammy Award winning rapper/producer, T-Pain. “This contest is a beautiful thing to see,” said T-Pain. “To have such an eclectic mix of genres, artists, and content come together for the purpose of getting recognized and creating art on a unified front is exciting. It reminds me of what it was like when I trying to make it and get recognized. You can feel the hunger coming from each contestant trying to earn their shot at fame; it’s a humbling experience, and I can’t wait to participate and help Pornhub find their next official anthem.” Other judges include Taylor Momsen, front woman for The Pretty Reckless and Dan Ozzi, music editor for Noisey/VICE. To enter the contest and become a finalist, you must be 18 years of age or older. Songs must be full-length and original compositions (not exceeding 4 minutes and 30 seconds, and on the campaign’s landing page no later than November 30th. Songs can be submitted in demo format.
