Beyonce’s Father, Mathew Knowles, Says “Broke” Rumors Are False

Beyonce’s father Mathew Knowles is AGAIN dealt a bad hand in the media, but uses a local news station to clear the air.

Recently, the head of the now defunct Knowles family, held a garage sale that included a huge inventory of old Beyonce memorabilia. Afterwards, rumors were swirling throughout Houston that Knowles and his companies were low on funds and desperately needed the cash.

Well, Knowles spoke with Houston’s Local 2 News to refute the rumors that he is broke. In the news clip, he insists that the money collected from the garage sale will go towards the expansion of his Music World Entertainment office.

“If I needed money, I wouldn’t sell $5 T-shirts. I’d sell a Grammy or an MTV award. So that is insulting to think we need to sell $5 T-shirts. No, I don’t think so.”
