Butler averaged 13.1 points last season and is becoming the Bulls go-to guy for scoring. Butler led the NBA in 39.3 minutes a game, is shooting a career-high in field-goals (49.1%) and free-throws (80.9%) made. One of Butler best games came against the Milwaukee Bucks when he scored 14 points, dished out 7 assists, grabbed 6 rebounds and had 4 steals in a 95-86 victory. Butler had 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists in a 118-115 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers. In a 100-93 victory over the Toronto Raptors, Butler had 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.

If Butler keeps putting up numbers like this the whole season, he should be a candidate for the NBA’s Most Improved Player Award and could be voted in as a reserve in the 2015 NBA All-Star Game.
