Harden led the Rockets to a 2-1 record and averaged 34.7 points, 7.3 assists, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.3 steals. Harden scored a season-high 44 points with 7 assists, 5 steals and 3 rebounds in a 110-95 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers. Harden almost posted a triple-double in a 117-111 overtime victory against the Memphis Grizzlies with 32 points, 10 assists, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. In a 110-106 loss against the San Antonio Spurs, Harden scored 28 points and 5 assists. Harden is currently averaging 27.2 points, 7 assists, 6.1 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1 block a game this year, all are career-highs for Harden.
