During a recent radio interview with ATL’s Hot 107.9FM, rapper 2 Chainz jokingly announced that he has his sights on running for the Mayor of College Park, GA. He later posted snippet of the conversation on his Instagram page. See below. It is possible that he sees a void in his hometown’s political office and figure he could make some positive changes if elected. And in case some of you don’t believe him, his longtime girlfriend/fiance, Kesha Ward, posted a confirmation via her Facebook page on Friday evening, stating… “Yes yall…2chainz is running for mayor of College Park.” Well, we guess it’s true. The next election will be held in November 2015. It’s going to be interesting to see how he uses his musical platform, if at all, for this campaign. So…what you all think?
