HomeFeatureChris Brown Postpones Tour Dates (By: Deja Pearson) admin Wednesday, January 28, 2015 Feature, Music, The Studio By: Deja Pearson, contributing intern (@itslikedejavu) Probation Regulations Forces Chris To Postpone BTS Tour At approximately 7:27 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2015, the one and only Christopher Maurice Brown posted the above photo on his Instagram with a caption that has shocked the #TeamBreezy fan base. Brown announced that he would be postponing a few of his first tour dates as a result of conflicting probationary regulations. Unfortunately, the “Between the Sheets” joint tour featuring Brown, Trey Songz, and Tyga will not begin today, January 27th, as it had been originally planned. The reason behind this delay is a result of his prior violation to his probation earlier this month, which led him to write this heartfelt apology below: “I would first like to apologize to all the fans and people who have been supporters of me and all the music over the years. The beginning of the BTS tour has been moved to later dates now. The judge would not sign off on my travel to do the tour until I finish these last 100 hours of community service. I promise that I am busting my a** doing it everyday until it’s complete. This is the most disappointing news I’ve gotten in a while. Everything happens for a reason so I wanted to personally inform my fans. The show must go on. Out of 1000 hours I only have 100 left. I will work my a** off to complete it and I will be on that stage. Once again I’m sorry for the delay. I love y’all! We will let y’all know the dates that are changed. It’s not cancelled. Just moved around a couple weeks.” Although this is a minor setback for the “New Flame” singer, Team Breezy knows that all is not lost and that Brown will not give up that easily. He will be back on that stage eventually and will give further details on the postponed tour dates. All we know as of now is that Brown is due back in court regarding his past violations to his probation in March which could result in some jail time. Until then, we will hope for the best and will continue to keep you updated as more information regarding this story is released.
