Grammy-nominated songwriter/producer Rico Love has released the official music video for “Somebody Else,” the first single from his forthcoming debut LP, TURN THE LIGHTS ON. The video was directed by Parris and the song was written by Rico and produced by Benny Blanco, Jake One and Robocop. Rico had this to say about the song and video concept: “I salute Parris for directing such an amazing video. It’s a mind trip because you don’t know if these two people are present with each other or figments of each other’s imaginations,” said Rico. “The symbolism is genius and a perfect visual description for the song about a love lost.” “Somebody Else” is now available for download via iTunes, Google, and Amazon. Rico’s TURN THE LIGHTS ON LP is scheduled to be released on May 19th through Division 1/Interscope.
