Two Nigerian immigrants recently welcomed a newborn daughter to their family. But, to the shock of their lives, their baby girl was not born black.

Angela Ihegboro (35 yrs) and her husband, Ben Ihegboro (44 yrs) both couldn’t not believe what they saw when their child was born at a London hospital. Mr. Ihegboro quickly dispelled any notions that his wife would have cheated on him.

“Even if she hadn’t been, the baby still wouldn’t look like that.”

Medical and genetics experts are seeking answers as well as to how baby came out white. Gene mutation, resurfacing of a dormant white gene, or a genetic condition are several theories being tossed around by experts. However, doctors have stated that baby Nmachi is not an outright albino.
