In the same breathe as the Outkast classic, “Idlewild,” two of Atlanta’s hip-hop kings take us back to a time where mobsters and juke joints ruled the world. T.I.’s new “G’ Shit” is a 12-minute video directed by Chris Robinson (Robot Films). T.I. plays the role of Buddy, a freshly born again gangster that runs a local club. Fellow rapper, Jeezy (aka Slugga), plays the less sensible friend of of T.I. and one that prefers violence over a minor slap on the hand. Actor Wood Harris joins in on the “G Shit” as Butter Bean.
