Woman Kills Friend with Crockpot….

Tewana Sullivan, age 50 of Detroit, will be tried for first-degree murder after she allegedly beat her friend Cheryl Livy (age 66) to death in October 2014.

Sullivan was initially charged with assault with intent to murder. But after the death of her friend, due to injuries, the charge was upgraded. Police say when they arrived on the scene Sullivan was in shock and under the influence of alcohol as she held Livy who was barely breathing. Defense lawyer John McWilliams said the women were arguing over “presidential politics” and whatever controversy is between Democrats and Republicans. Reports still don’t show which woman took what side, however, Sullivan is currently being held in the Wayne County Jail and will appear in court on Feb 12.
