Blazers Damian Lillard Named NBA Western Conference Player of the Week

Portland Trail Blazers Guard Damian Lillard was named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week for games played February 23 through March 1. Lillard averaged 26 points, 5.7 assists and 4.7 rebounds. Lillard led Portland to a 3-0 record with wins against the San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder and Sacramento Kings. In a 111-95 victory against the Spurs Lillard had 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

Lillard had 29 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds in a 115-112 win against the Thunder. Lillard had his best game against the Kings with 31 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds in 110-99 win. Lillard is currently averaging 21.6 points, 6.2 assists and 4.6 rebounds for the season. The Blazers have the fifth best record in the NBA currently with a 39-19 record.
