In this three part review, STACKS Magazine talks with public relations expert Jakeem Smith about the negative intricacies of being famous. During our first discussion, Smith went into detail about how to create a buzz for a not-so-popular client. Understanding that it does take a twisted story or beefed up rumor to get the attention of the public, Smith enlightens us with his two cents. And as we’ve seen on Twitter, Instagram, blogs etc, when the crap hits the fan, it takes a PR guru to fizzle out the nonsense. On part two, Smith gives his IMO on the backlash that social media brings. He discusses ways in which him as a PR and a client (or random individual) should properly conduct themselves.
