Marvin Gaye’s family isn’t quite finished with their “Blurred Lines” lawsuit. Recent reports reveal that the family want everyone involved in the creation, manufacturing, and distribution of the song to pay their dues. If the court allows the Gaye family to make a correction to their original decision against Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke, then T.I., Universal Music Group, Interscope Records, and Star Trak Entertainment may have to pay up as well. This is if the jury deems any further copyright infringement and if UMG distributed the recording. According to Pharrell’s lawyer, if the labels are held accountable, the judge can order an injunction to stop all distribution and sales of “Blurred Lines.”
