On Friday March 27th, Atlanta Mayor Kaseem Reid, Councilman Kwanza Hall, his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris and various other city officials and supporters joined T.I. in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for his all-new Scales 925 restaurant. The restaurant is located at 30 Allen Plaza on Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd. The menu is said to be a brilliant mix of southern cuisine with dishes on the menu such as Buttermilk Fried Red Snapper, Triple Duck Meatloaf, and their 925 Signature Fried Chicken. Scales 925 boasts a top-tier culinary team with chef Messiah Gonzalez, who has worked at The Spence and Le Bilboquet, also T.I.’s own personal chef “Chef Ashley.” Word is that there will be a soft opening held on April 1 and an official Grand Opening Party on April 14th.
