Charges dropped for Brooklyn Teen….

Brooklyn police will be dropping charges against 17-year old Enrique Del Rosario after videos surface. Rosario was arrested by Brooklyn police back in June 8, 2014 for allegedly assaulting a police officer, but prosecutors dropped charges after video footage proved otherwise. Founder of the neighborhood police watchdog group said, “We’ve been documenting this every year,” Dennis Flores told Think Progress. “The neighborhood gets flooded with police officers. Young kids are marching, waving flags, and cops are corralling them, pushing them around, like it’s a nuisance to have them out celebrating their culture.”

Rosario wasn’t a member of the group, however, had been filming when officers shoved a woman standing next to him. Rosario will not be charged for assault on the officer, but will be charged for resisting arrest.
