Her death was left with some unanswered questions and now her sister Miko Branch has come forth accusing Titi’s boyfriend of being the reason for her suicide. According to Miko, Anthony Spadafora was no more than a slickster, draining her sister of thousands of dollars during their relationship. Spadafora apparently did much damage to Titi’s bank account and spirit by isolating her from friends/family and treating her “like a human ATM.” Recent court documents details the financial requests made by Spadafora, which included thousands to launch his own beard-care business (Maestro’s Classics), $420,000 to purchase and renovate a Pennsylvania house, $135, 000 interest-free loan, and to add him on as beneficiary to Titi’s $2,000,000 life insurance policy. Although we do not know for sure if Titi suffered from depression or any other mental illness, we do know for sure that this man apparently took full advantage of her emotional weaknesses. It is unfortunate that this had to happen to a bright, successful woman. But, these type of unbalanced relationships occur quite often. Women are mainly associated with the term “gold digger”. But, there are men that use manipulation, sex, and sometimes physical strength to coerce successful women out of their hard earned money. Which is why, as women, we need to be more aware of who we choose to date or establish a serious relationship with. Men out here are just as conniving as women who strictly seek out rich men to take care of them. As women, we are also naturally emotional. The more successful she is, the more bums she’s going to attract. So, although he may be charming and handsome from the jump, it doesn’t mean that he is dating you because he loves you.
