Dame Dash’s life is drama. Lately, the craziness that’s surrounding him seems to multiply by the hour. Unfortunately, for Kanye West, he’s being called out in the mess this time. TMZ is reporting that Dame and Kanye’s film “Loisaidas” is the center of a recent lawsuit. The name Loisaidas, apparently, is being used by a Latin music group. One of the group’s members, Michael Medina, claims that the movie promotes violence and drugs, which could negatively impact the duo’s reputation. Medina has requested that the film project come to a halt and is seeking damages. Being the outspoken King of Harlem that he is, Dame Dash went to Instagram to vent about the lawsuit. Just doesn’t stop…all part of the game I guess…as yall see independence means fight every day…it’s not for everybody…and how the fuck I’m i supposed to know there is a group called @loisaidas and why wouldn’t they just call me first…why tmz?…shout out to tmz though they put up the trailer… #indylife #notforeverybody #havetobebuilttofighteveryday A photo posted by @duskopoppington on Apr 2, 2015 at 6:41pm PDT And apparently, Dame Dash also realized that the music group didn’t have the name Loisaidas copyrighted. The name actually is registered under someone else. The stupid ass crew that’s talking about suing me doesn’t even own their own trademark…this the dumb shit I go through everyday…every cornball wants their moment…enjoy it .. Loisaidas, the film, is about an amateur BMX competitor and some Harlem hustlers who has set up shop in LES. For more information about the film, visit www.loisaidasthemovie.com.
