Young Thug Moves Forward with ‘Carter 6’

The Atlanta rapper plans to pick up where Lil Wayne left off; expected to drop Carter 6 on April 17.

Disrespectful or not, Young Thug is ready to debut his first album, Carter 6. Despite the backlash he’s receiving from Lil Wayne’s fans, Thugga is pressing forward with the official cover art. He will release his album on April 17 (which is his mother’s birthday).

Based on a few leakes from the project, Young Thug will come with his A-game. And while some fans agree, many believe that he isn’t as talented and should lose cool points for disrespecting Wayne’s “Carter” series. He told MTV in 2014 that he wanted to continue the series once Wayne put out Carter V.

It depends on what he names his album. He did I to V, I’m gonna do six to 10.

The official track list for Carter 6 is not out yet. But, fans can expect to see it in V, IV, III, II…
