Waka Flocka “Bust” April Fool’s Prank for New Track

For those who care…the internet went into a frenzy on April 1st when word came out about a sex tape featuring rapper Waka Flocka. Speculation filled social media comments of the possible tape, which at that point was only substantiated with a photo posted on Pornhub.com.

Well, apparently, the whole frenzy was a stunt pulled by Waka’s team and Pornhub. The sex tape was actually an April Fool’s joke done to create buzz for Waka’s new song and video “Bust.”

“This whole collaboration has been absolutely amazing from start to finish,” says Corey Price, VP, Pornhub. “Waka and his camp are all professionals to the Nth degree and we were happy to work together to pull off this seamless prank on the sex tape hungry masses. While we’re apologetic to those who were expecting the real thing, we are still proud to present the launch of Waka’s new video, Pornhub Record’s latest collaboration. ”

“Bust” features rapper Machine Gun Kelly, DJ Whoo Kid, Dirt Nasty, Andy Milonakis, The Fat Jew, and porn stars Skin Diamond, Chanel Preston, and Eva Angelina. The song was produced by Mr. Collipark and Mayhem. Video was directed by Nicholaus Goossen.

So far, “Bust” has garnered over 411,000 views on YouTube. Guess it is safe to say that the prank worked!

Waka Flocka is currently on tour with DJ Whoo Kid on the “The Turn Up Godz Tour”. The “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” co-star will release his second album Flockavelli II on June 1, 2015.
