STEP It Up: Tyga Releases ‘TRaww’ Running Shoes

Multi-platinum recording artist TYGA and footwear brand, L.A. Gear, premiere three styles from their third collaboration collection titled the “TRaww Runners by TYGA”. This collection is the first TRaww Signature Shoe TYGA has release with L.A. Gear. It is also not only the brand’s first fitness shoe since its re-launch announcement, but features the first women’s shoe to be released under the duo’s design collaboration series. The 3 TRaww Runners are exclusively available atwww.lagear.com and  Sportie LA’s Melrose location.

This release kicks off with two men’s styles retailing at $70 and one women’s at $65. The men’s feature one in vibrant orange accented in bright blue and the other in a deep, rich red with black accents. Both are available in small sizes for women, starting with size 5.5. The women’s launch with a black and white scratch-like-pattern, accented with a pink TRaww logo on the tongue.

Creative consultant TYGA states, “I just really wanted a lightweight comfortable running shoe. Something I can wear when I’m running around in airports and when I’m running at the gym. I wanted to keep the design as minimal as possible and use all lightweight breathable materials. It’s like you’re not even wearing a shoe”.

President of L.A. Gear, Lance Jackson adds “In building our L.A. Gear collection with TYGA we really wanted to cover all categories. Our Heritage and Retro styles are very important to the re-launch but we also want to cover everything from athletic styles to casual canvas shoes, fashion Hi Tops, etc. The T-Raww Runners is the first athletic collection we put together. We feel that they will be a huge success as we strived for a light weight, comfort shoe with fun fashion elements including the unique feature of a translucent bottom with the T-Raww logo.”
