Mother leaves child in car on Mother’s Day….

Mother’s Day didn’t mean to neglect your child but Harley Dawn Hampton didn’t feel the same way.

KOCO.com reported the story of 28 year-old Hampton leaving her 4 year-old child in a car on Mother’s Day to have a few drinks at a local sports bar. Police were called to the scene after a bartender from Lumpy’s Sports Bar saw a young child sitting in the car alone. Hampton’s informed police that she came to the bar to pick up her boyfriend, however, stayed with friends to have a few drinks in honor of Mother’s Day. She stated that her boyfriend agreed to watch the child, but 15 mins later he re-entered the bar to continue the celebration.
