Hot 107.9 lit the city of Atlanta this past weekend with their annual Birthday Bash celebration. This year, marked the 20th anniversary for the hip-hop concert. The radio station took over the entire weekend, starting with a Classic Throwback concert, which featured Scrappy, Trick Daddy, Bun B, Yung Joc just to name a few. Also, Birthday Bash 20 couldn’t end without spotlighting the young gunners. Scotty ATL, Young Thug, Sy Ari Da Kid, Cool Amerika,  and more rocked the Variety Playhouse during the Next To Go concert. Even T.I. and his Bankroll Mafia crew made a guest appearance with Young Thug.

But, on Saturday night, that’s where it all went down. The main event, Birthday Bash 20, featured performances by Ludacris, Migos, K Camp, Wale, B.o.B., D.R.A.M. (the guy with the “Cha Cha” song) and other artists from the Atlanta area.  Freebandz CEO, Future, was one of two headliners for the night. His set became of one of the most talked about because of his celebrity friends that showed up.

The audience went wild for Future’s first guest, Meek Mill. Meek Mill performed “Monster” and shortly after his boo Nicki Minaj stepped on stage to give the fans some love.

The final surprise was Drake. The Toronto-native hit the stage and performed several hits like “Legend,” “My Way,” “Energy,” and “Know Yourself.” Future closed the the night with “F**k Up Some Commas.”
