Mr. “Bring The Whole City Out” did just that this past weekend in the city of Atlanta. Jay Jenkins aka Jeezy celebrated the 10-year anniversary of his first album Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, which was released on CTE/Def Jam in 2005.

The TM101 festivities included a kick-off dinner at 103 West, in which Jeezy relaunched his Street Dreamz Foundation and was given the Phoenix Award for his longstanding service to the community. Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Ludacris, Big Boi, Usher, Ne-Yo, Monica, and others were in attendance to honor Jeezy. On Saturday morning, Jeezy and the Street Dreamz Foundation conducted a “community clean-up” in the District 4 area of the city. Local community leaders and volunteers took part in the clean-up to help keep the neighborhood beautiful.

The highlight of the TM101 weekend was, of course, the highly-anticipated 10-year anniversary concert at the Fox Theater. The hip-hop elite came out to support Jeezy like Kanye West, Usher, OutKast, T.I., Bun B, and Lil Scrappy. Jeezy and guests performed classic hits like “Bang” (T.I. & Lil Scrappy), “Love in this Club” (Usher), “Put On” (Kanye West). The crowd went wild after Jeezy reunited with Boy N Da Hood for their 2005 classic “Dem Boyz.”
