From the upcoming list, the Los Angeles Lakers are by far the least expected team to win a championship, let alone make the playoffs. But the 2015-2016 season could be Kobe Bryant’s last season and nobody expects him too leave the league on a quiet note. Bryant is 10th all-time in minutes played at more than 46,000 and before suffering a rotator cuff tear, he put up impressive stats for a 36 year-old (22.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.6 assists, respectively). Despite not being able to land All-Stars LaMarcus Aldridge, Rajon Rondo, Jimmy Butler, Kawhi Leonard, DeAndre Jordan and many more, the team still made a few important adjustments.

During the offseason they signed 2 time All-Star Roy Hibbert, former SEC Player of the Year Brandon Bass, and this year’s 6th man of the year recipient Lou Williams. Also, last year’s seventh pick in the NBA Draft, Julius Randle is set too bounce back after breaking his right tibia in the 2014 season opener against the Houston Rockets. Jordan Clarkson has completely eliminated any doubt for his critics during summer league by putting up an offensive barrage. And with a great addition in D’Angelo Russell as their new point guard, the future of the team is in good hands. Whether the team will slowly rebuild or be one of the bottom seeds in the Western Conference, we can all expect Kobe Bryant to go out with a bang.
