Ohio mother sentenced in connection with child endangerment….

More and more child deaths and cruelty cases have been hitting the media and the parents are being convicted. Recently, Candida Fluty, age 35 of Ohio, plead guilty to charges of child endangerment of her 9-year-old son.

Back in January 2015, hospital security cameras caught Fluty injecting feces into her sons IV bag causing him to have a fever. Fluty’s son was being treated for Hirschsprung, a congenital medical condition that affects the bowels. Fluty plead guilty to one count of child endangerment as a plea bargain with prosecutors. She will serve 6 years in prison.

“We are satisfied with the plea and sentence,” Chief Assistant Prosecutor Julie Wilson said. “Our concern was for her child and we hope that he is doing well.” Fluty’s son and three other children are currently living with her sister in West Virginia. Fluty is no longer allowed any contact with her kids.
