The death of Bobbi Kristina Brown is a weird indication of how you never really know the fate of one’s life. As untimely as the death of her mother, singer Whitney Houston three years ago, Bobbi Kristina’s family is as shocked by this incident as they were when her mom died. Just the thought of how mother and daughter both were found unconscious in a tub is quite eerie. And each incident occurred almost three years to the day. As officials continue their ongoing investigation into how Bobbi Kristina died, they are piecing together the motive behind her death. The 22-year old inherited her deceased mother’s multi-million estate. And many people believe that the money was the reason behind her death, with boyfriend Nick Gordon as the prime suspect. A court ordered Atlanta attorney Bedelia Hargrove to serve as Bobbi Kristina’s conservator over her finances. Hargrove eventually filed a lawsuit against Gordon citing assault and battery, fraud, stalking and other claims. According to Forbes, Hargrove believes that Gordon was scheming to get Bobbi Kristina’s money and domestic violence eventually lead to her death. The lawsuit accused Gordon of assault and battery, fraud, stalking, and more — claiming that Nick Gordon was motivated by the millions of dollars held in trust for Bobbi Kristina through Whitney Houston’s will. Specifically, Hargrove alleged that Gordon perpetrated a “scheme to benefit from her wealth” including “routinely transferring a large portion of Brown’s funds” into his own bank account, without her permission. Gordon questioned Bobbi Kristina’s ability to access the trust money, and also threatened and stalked one of the trustees leading to a restraining order, the lawsuit states. He even allegedly took $11,000 out of her account while she was in a coma. The worst of the allegations involve claims that Gordon engaged in domestic violence against Bobbi Kristina, including the injuries that ultimately led to her death. Hargrove’s lawsuit included claims that Gordon was guilty of assault, battery, conversion and more — and that he should be liable for more than ten million dollars. If this pans out to be true, Gordon will undoubtedly be charged with the murder of Bobbi Kristina. The estate, however, will most likely be split among Whitney’s brothers, mother, and Bobby Brown. In Whitney’s Will, it stated that her estate would pass on to her brothers and her mother, if Bobbi Kristina could no longer serve as sole beneficiary. The reason why Bobby Brown may end up seeing a portion of these millions is because he is the only living parent of Bobbi Kristina’s at this point. It is going to be interesting to see how this all plays out. The interaction between the Houston and Brown families has historically been dysfunctional. Now, that the multi-million dollar estate is back up at stake, it’s guaranteed that the public hasn’t heard the last from this family.
