Oprah Winfrey Ranks No. 1 As Celebrity ‘Most Likely to do Business With’

In honor of World’s Entrepreneur’s Day (August 20th), Forbes no. 1 ranked online accounting software for small businesses, XERO, conducted a survey of over 750 small business owners. The results from the survey revealed which celebrities mostly influences entrepreneurs around the globe. Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, Donald Trump, Dr. Dre and others ranked high on the list, however, with the good came the bad. Can you guess which celebrities are most inspiring and which ones are not?

From a global standpoint, Oprah Winfrey ranked no. 1 as the celebrity entrepreneur small business owners would “most likely go into business with.” Winfrey has amassed a net worth of $3 billion by diving into various business ventures: publishing, TV production, philanthropy. Her ability to pursue several businesses and succeed at them makes Winfrey a ideal role model for many entrepreneurs.

Unfortunately, small business owners don’t care too much for Kim Kardashian. The young Hollywood socialite and entrepreneur was named the “least admired” celebrity with 56% of votes. We believe she’s least admired because of the over-saturation of the Kardashian clan as a whole. Although Kim has made big money just by being her, she should still be commended for being able to turn a sex tape into global phenom.

XERO’s survey also revealed that most small business owners believe Dr. Dre should push producing to the side and focus solely on Beats by Dre. It’s his primary money-making source so why not!
