New Jersey teacher Arnold Anderson has defiantly been saved by the bell after being late for 111 times. Roosevelt Elementary School teacher and 15-year veteran Arnold Anderson states that he should not be fired and is entitled to progressive discipline. Anderson was late more than 46 times this year and 65 times in 2014. Anderson’s salary is $90, 000 per year and he claims that the quality of his teaching outweighed his tardiness. In arbitration court it was found that the district failed to provide Anderson with due process by not providing him with the proper 90 day notice to correct his actions. Anderson will not receive a raise and will be on suspension without pay until Jan 1. Prev2 of 4Next Use your ← → (arrow) keys to browse
