Chicago Sky Elena Delle Donna was named the 2015 WNBA Most Valuable Player. Delle Donna received 38 out of 39 first-place votes and led the Sky to the second best record in the Eastern Conference with a 21-13 record. Delle Donna led the WNBA in scoring with 23.4 points a game and shot a league-best 95.0% from the free throw line. Delle Donna finished third in the league with 8.4 rebounds and 2.0 blocks a game. Delle Donna scored a career-high 45 points in 100-96 victory against the Atlanta Dream and made a remarkable 19 out of 19 free-throws. Her performance from the foul line set a WNBA record for most free throws made without a miss. Delle Donna posted 40 points in a 101-93 loss to the Tulsa Shock and made all 11 of her free throw attempts. Delle Donna MVP award is another accomplishment she can add to an already impressive WNBA resume. Delle Donna is a three-time WNBA All-Star, was named the 2013 WNBA Rookie of the Year and was selected to the 2014 All-WNBA Second Team. Della Donna has only been in the WNBA for three years and winning a WNBA championship would be her biggest accomplishment to date. Photo credit: WNBA
