Rick Ross is on one this week. Even with his short stint in jail and a semi-embarrassing “rap beef” hovering over the MMG brand, Rick Ross has completed an album that will drop this week on September 3rd. The new album, Black Dollar, is trailing in the footsteps of Beyonce’ and Drake with an unexpected release. One question many of us have is will Rick Ross do numbers? Who knows. But any indication of Rick Ross’s concern could be drawn from a few bars from the first single “Foreclosures,” which he dropped on Monday. “I never took an “L” back when Meek failed. Just drove the numbers all the way back up in retail.” Ross got another game plan if Black Dollar doesn’t pop off…clearly. To celebrate the new album, Rick Ross is planning to release a new song off of the project every day leading up to the due date.
