The hip-hop emcee has appeared in Run All Night and Entourage, and his next project will place in with Will Smith and Jared Leto in Suicide Squad. Common has also wrapped Barbershop 3 and can be seen in The Wiz Live!, which also stars Queen Latifah, Ne-yo and Mary J. Blige. The original Wick film told the story of an ex-hitman who took out retribution on a couple of criminals after invading his home and killing his dog. Wick 2 will show Reeves re-entering the “underworld of assassins he left behind and shows everyone that he’s still not to be trifled with.” (via Hollywood Reporter) Common will play the chief villain, the head of security for a female crime lord.
