The true story of Olympic legend, Jesse Owens, is coming to the big screen. The real-life events of one of the greatest track and field athletes will come to a theater near you on February 19, 2016. The film chronicles the athletic journey of Jesse Owens, the legendary star that took the world stage at the 1983 Olympics. This was heralded as one of the greatest moments in Olympic history because of Owen’s victory over Adolf Hitler and his ideals of a Aryan supremacy. “Race” is directed by Stephen Hopkins and written by Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse.
