Samsung recently agreed to an astonishingly large sponsorship deal with pop star, Rihanna. The electronics giant will market Rihanna’s new album and tour for “Anti” at a whooping $25 million. The sponsorship deal isn’t the first for a Roc Nation-based artist. In fact, Jay Z signed an estimated $20 million deal with Samsung back in 2013, in which the company purchased 1 million copies of Magna Carta Holy Grail. As a marketing strategy, Samsung gave away copies of the album for free to the first one million owners of their Galaxy S III, Galaxy 4, Galaxy Note 4. Rihanna’s deal is said to have taken months to complete because of last minute changes to the album. Anti will be released before the year end. Photo via StyleMagazine.com
