Rapper Meek Mill tears up during probation hearing…

Dreamchaser/MMG artist, Meek Mill, got a little choked up during his recent probation hearing. According to TMZ, the Philly-native was quite emotional throughout his testimony, pointing out that he is hurt that he will not be able to see his mom in New Jersey after having surgery.

Meek Mill tried his best to convince the judge that he really wasn’t a bad guy. “I’m not a gangsta. I’m not a criminal.” He added, “I have my queen, Nicki [Minaj] now. I’m trying to do better and feel like I can be the best rapper out there.” Even his girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, took the stand to share kind words on his behalf. But, apparently his supporters were not enough.

Judge Brinkley found Meek Mill guilty of a “technical violation” of his probation and will be sentenced in February. In the meantime, Meek can not leave Philly or perform anywhere (including in Philly).
