The WWE continues to generate millions with the help of alliances with the hip-hop and gaming industries. Recent events goes to show that the WWE is positioning themselves to stay relevant in sports entertainment for a long time. During this past Monday Night Raw, the WWE event landed in Miami and who of course made a guest appearance backstage: Rick Ross. The Carol City rapper spent time chatting with actor The Rock and the legendary “Nature Boy” Ric Flair. The exchange between Rick, Rock, and Ric was nothing but comical. It revealed however the close connection that wrestling has with the hip-hop culture. Ric Flair’s famous “WOOOO!”, for instance, has been mentioned in numerous rap songs throughout the years. The success of the past WWE titles will remain along with the recent release of WWE 2K16. The company 2K will also extend its investments in WWE SuperCard. SuperCard is a card-battling game that has been downloaded over nine million times thus far. In October 2015, WWE 2K16 was addition to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Critics say that WWE 2K16 is the most authentic, comprehensive and action-packed game to date. It includes the largest roster of WWE Superstars, Divas and Legends. Cool additions to the game include a Creation Suite, online options, and gaming enhancements.
