A video posted by Puff Daddy (@iamdiddy) on Jan 18, 2016 at 1:00pm PST For several years now, Flint’s citizens (mainly children) has experienced health concerns (and deaths) due to lead-contaminated water flowing into the city’s pipelines. In an effort to cut back budget costs, the city chose to draw water from the Flint River. Unfortunately, this move was unsafe and a great proportion of children began to get extremely high level of lead in their blood. In October 2015, the city decided to reconnect with Detriot’s water system. However, a great deal of damage has been done and, at this point, health officials say that the water is safe for bathing but not drinking. This outbreak also caught the attention of rapper Meek Mill. He dontaed $50,000 to the city of Flint in effort to help the water crisis. Diddy also plans to donate his brand of water, AquaHydrate, to help the citizens as well. My money is in and my job done … It shows dudes like that can’t function when you act like a grown man!
