For once we might have to admit that Meek Mill didn’t take an *L* with his most recent diss song. A few days ago, Drake’s new single, “Summer Sixteen,” aired on Beat 1’s OVO Sound Radio, which took shots at Meek Mill along with Tory Lanez. Drake also compared himself to Jay-Z, who is one of hip-hop’s most iconic legends. However, this time, Meek Mill was prepared with a diss song only fifteen minutes after Drake’s single was released titled “War Pain.”

In the diss record, Meek Mill was quick to state that ghostwriter Quentin Miller had slipped him Drake’s lyrics previously. One of Meek’s hardest hitting lines, however, was “You ain’t write it ni**a, we caught ya, can’t erase that sh**./And you claimin’ you HOV now? Why you state that sh**?” Clearly referencing Drake comparing himself to Jay-Z, which Meek claims is absurd cause the NY native would write his own lyrics.

Check out Drake’s song via iTunes and Meek’s below. Tell us who you think won this round of the reignited beef.
