After dropping her new album ANTI last week, Rihanna is working nonstop to promote the project. Her work ethic can not be denied. She travels the world on tour each year, as well as, work on various businesses and brands she’s associated with. Rihanna’s ability to stay on the grind is evident in her level of popularity. To some, the 27-year-old pop princess has already earned her stripes to be called an icon. But, where does she find the time to have a normal social life? Is it difficult for her to date or be in a serious relationship and work at the same time? YES. Rihanna – as do many other women – find that balancing a career and a love life is extremely complicated. Too much effort has to be given to each, but some where down the line the job or relationship will suffer. Recently, Rihanna made an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” Of course, Ellen wanted the tea on the singer’s love life and asked about her relationship status. What Rihanna responded with is exactly what many others are going through. ‘I’m single right now. And it’s not that I’m like ”Oh, pro single. Yes, I hate men.” I just think that I just have so much on my plate that I can’t even find the time to entertain a steady relationship or anything serious,’ Rihanna said. Like Rihanna, many women (and men) spend a great deal of time focusing only on their career. The reason this is good is because it allows you to make the most out of your life without having any distractions. Relationships tend to mess with your head space. Once your mind is screwed up on lust and love, you become cloudy and not focused on more important aspects of your everyday life. Rihanna’s drive to be the best shows up in work ethic. And even as beautiful as she is, knowing that she’s not concentrating on a “man” makes her more powerful than she knows.
