It may be safe to say that Tidal has been one big headache for Jay Z since day one! In the aftermath of Rihanna’s ANTI misconstrued first week numbers and Kanye West’s The Life A Pablo secret numbers, word is Jay Z has fired two of Tidal’s top executives. CFO Chris Hartand and COO Nils Juell has been fired for allegedly falsifying album streaming figures. According to Breakit, Hartand’s departure came after a dispute regarding how Tidal manages user and streaming numbers. Although it is not confirmed, the non-sharing of streaming numbers to Nielsen Music may play a big part in the firing as well. These are not the first “let go’s” for the streaming company. Since Jay Z entered into the equation, Tidal has replaced CEOs twice.
